The New Centre

From zero courts to a world-class facility.

A four-phase roadmap to build the Mid North Coast's first dedicated squash facility. This is a proof of concept for every regional club in Australia.

Where It's Happening

Port Macquarie, NSW

A coastal city of 50,000+ on the NSW Mid North Coast — four hours north of Sydney, three hours south of Brisbane. No dedicated squash facility within 150km.

The Problem

Port Macquarie — a city of 50,000+ — has no dedicated squash facility. Our club survives on borrowed time and rented courts. We lost 40% of our players when we lost our venue. The demand is there. The infrastructure isn't.

The Solution

Rather than waiting for a single large grant or government project, we're building incrementally. Each phase proves the demand, grows the membership, and funds the next step. By the time we need major investment, we'll have the track record to justify it.

The Funding Philosophy

Our funding model rests on three pillars: community support (sponsors, donations, member reserves), grant funding pursued at every level of government, and reinvested club revenue. No single source carries the build — we use the right mix at the right time.

Every dollar goes directly into building the court. Zero admin costs — we're all volunteers.
